Compassionate Support Designed
to Meet Emotional Needs
The Grieving Assistance Program for Adults (GAP) is a compassionate support initiative offered by Victims, Inc. It is designed to meet the emotional needs of individuals and families who are coping with the death of a loved one—especially when that loss occurs suddenly or traumatically.
Grief can be isolating, unpredictable, and deeply painful. GAP provides a safe space—both in group settings and one-on-one environments—for participants to express their sorrow, share memories, and begin the journey toward healing. Whether your loss was recent or many months ago, you are welcome here.
Our Belief
Victims, Inc., we believe there is no right or wrong way to grieve—only your way. Everyone’s path through loss is unique. Some may feel anger, others numbness or guilt, while others are overwhelmed by sadness or confusion. These responses are all normal. What matters is having the support and tools to move through grief at your own pace.
Our goal is to help bridge the gap between the initial shock and heartbreak of a loss and the eventual possibility of peace, growth, and renewed strength. Healing may take time, and it may not be linear—but you don’t have to go through it alone.
